The Ideal of Calm Exists in a Sitting Cat.

                                                      Bradleigh

Meet Bradleigh.  At 6 weeks old he was  rescued from an abusive home where he was mistreated and finally thrown out in a thunderstorm to fend for himself. I received a call from my Vets office asking if  I would be interested in a kitten.  I hesitated,  (I lived with two cats already) , but after hearing the story I agreed to come and see him.  I picked him up... he melted into my arms... he looked lovingly into my eyes.....it was mutual!!  Bradleigh is now 13 years old and weighs 16 + lbs.  He sleeps with us every night and purrs as loud as my husbands snores.  It's a symphony to dream by!

  5. I can so empathize with this story. Our beautiful Snow (guess what color she is!) was abused and left outside to fend for herself year round. By the time she was a year old, she'd already had a litter. A gal I know rescued her and we in turn took her in....11 years ago. She is still afraid of feet (she had been kicked) but just loves to be held and cuddled....sleeps on her own pillow behind my pillow on our bed, purring away all night. I shudder to think what her life would have been like had she not been rescued.
